MOH Condemns Offensive on Paramedics, Health Institutions

Ministry of Health (MOH) strongly condemned Wednesday the Israeli offensive on paramedics and its buildings in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank City of Nablus.

In a statement, the MOH said that Israeli soldiers deliberately opened fire at ambulances and medical teams in al-Maghazi Refugee Camp and wounded one of the field team, whose leg was cut.

"The matter is also repeated in Nablus when Israeli soldiers turned the MOH building into a detention site and banned paramedics under gunpoint to evacuate the bodies of three assassinated citizens to a hospital," MOH said.

It called on international community, UN and HR organisations, to immediately intervene and provide protection to paramedics and health institutions.
