IOF arrest mother of six children, settlers damage cemetery

Nablus - IDF troops at dawn Monday arrested a Palestinian mother of six children during a large-scale incursion into Nablus city that was coupled with searching many Palestinian civilian homes in various suburbs.

Local sources said that the IOF soldiers detained a big number of citizens in Bustan Fatayir area and fired over their heads to terrorize them.

The sources added that the soldiers arrested a 35-year-old mother from Khammash family, who is a mother of six children.

Meanwhile, the Aqsa foundation catering for Islamic shrines in Palestine on Sunday denounced the desecration of Harbaj cemetery near Haifa city, occupied since 1948.

It said in a statement that Israeli settlers broke into the graveyard and destroyed a number of headstones.

The foundation said that the damaged tombstones would be repaired at once, noting that it was the first desecration of its kind. It recalled that a similar sacrilegious act was recorded ten years ago.
