Pro-peace lobbying in US Congress conspicuous by its absence
Sama Adnan argues that the failure of American pro-peace
organizations to extend their work to lobbying in Congress has allowed the

departments because the Senate “through confirmation hearings for the
president’s appointees, can confirm or deny the job to candidates deemed by
AIPAC as ‘unsympathetic’ to Israel”.
