Organize to End Military Aid to Israel

Last year, the United States and
Israel signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) to increase
military aid to Israel by 25%,
totaling $30 billion over
the next decade.

Earlier this month, the President
sent his FY2009 budget request
to Congress, which includes
$2.55 billion in military aid for
Israel, the first proposed
increase under this ten-year
agreement.

Doesn't it just make you mad
that more of your tax dollars
are going to fund Israel's illegal
military occupation and human
rights abuses rather than critical,
unmet domestic needs?
Don't you wish there was
something
you could do about it?

Now you can.

The US Campaign to End The Israeli
Occupation has
created a new section on
their website
with resources for
you to use to challenge
U.S. military aid
to Israel.
Check it out by

Within the new section,

you'll find:

U.S. military aid to Israel that you can

your community

* A flash graphic opposing military
aid to Israel that you can add to
your website, blog,
and social networking sites

* Downloadable
postcards and petitions
addressed to Members of Congress
for you to
use to collect signatures in your
community to
gather support for ending military
aid to Israel

* On-line action alerts that you
can forward
to your friends
to send a letter to Congress
and the President opposing
military aid to Israel
